Soleil Studio ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website located at soleilstudio.live (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information submitted through this Site, including applications for our remote model program.

This policy is intended to comply with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) of Taiwan (R.O.C.) and, where applicable, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other relevant United States privacy frameworks.

By using our Site or submitting an application, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

We collect information in two stages — during the application process and during onboarding of accepted models.

Application stage — information you voluntarily provide through our application form:

• First name — to address you personally
• Age — to verify eligibility (must be 18 or older)
• Email address — to contact you regarding your application
• Country of residence — to understand your location and applicable legal context
• Referral source — how you heard about us
• Optional message — any additional information you voluntarily choose to share

Onboarding stage — additional information collected from accepted models only:

• Payment details — bank account, Wise account, or cryptocurrency wallet address for payout processing. Payment details are used solely for disbursing earnings and are never shared with third parties
• IP address and location data — collected automatically during platform sessions for security monitoring, fraud prevention, and geo-blocking configuration. This data is not sold or shared with advertisers
• Third-party platform data — earnings data, session statistics, and account performance metrics shared with us by the broadcasting platforms you operate on. This data is used solely for earnings calculation, coaching, and account management

Age verification and government-issued ID documents are collected and held directly by the broadcasting platform you work on, not by Soleil Studio. We do not store or process identity documents.

We also automatically collect limited technical data when you visit our Site, including your IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited. This data is used solely for website security and performance analytics.

Purpose of Collection

Under Taiwan's PDPA, we are required to disclose the specific purposes for which your personal data is collected. Your information is collected and used exclusively for the following purposes:

• Reviewing and processing your application for our remote model program
• Contacting you to schedule or conduct an interview
• Responding to questions or enquiries you submit to us
• Complying with applicable legal obligations
• Improving the performance and content of our website

Legal Basis for Processing

Taiwan (PDPA): We collect and process your personal data based on your consent, which you provide by voluntarily submitting an application through our Site. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at apply@soleilstudio.live.

United States: We collect personal information for legitimate business purposes related to our talent recruitment operations. We do not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA. California residents have additional rights as described in Section 08 of this policy.

Data Storage & Security

Application data is collected via Google Forms and stored in Google's secure cloud infrastructure. Government-issued ID documents and payment details collected during onboarding are stored in password-protected, access-restricted storage accessible only to essential personnel.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or misuse. These measures include:

• Password-protected access to all data storage systems
• Limiting access to personal data to essential personnel only
• Sensitive documents (ID, payment details) stored separately from general application data
• Regular review of our data handling practices

No method of data transmission or storage is completely secure. While we take all reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security against all threats.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. The following retention schedules apply:

• Application data (unsuccessful applicants) — retained for 12 months from the date of submission, then permanently deleted
• Application data (accepted models) — retained for the duration of the model agreement and deleted within 90 days of termination, unless retention is required by law
• Payment records and earnings data — retained for 7 years from the date of each transaction for tax and accounting compliance purposes
• IP address and session data — retained for 90 days for security purposes, then automatically deleted
• Third-party platform performance data — retained for the duration of the model agreement and deleted within 90 days of termination

Age verification and identity documents are held by the broadcasting platform directly and are subject to their retention policies. Soleil Studio does not store identity documents and therefore has no obligation under 18 U.S.C. § 2257 as a secondary producer.

If you request deletion of your data and no mandatory retention period applies, we will action that request within 30 days of receipt.

Your Rights — Taiwan (PDPA)

Under Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to inquiry and review — you may request to view the personal data we hold about you
• Right to copy — you may request a copy of your personal data
• Right to correction — you may request correction of any inaccurate data
• Right to deletion — you may request that we delete your personal data
• Right to restrict processing — you may request that we stop processing your data in certain circumstances
• Right to withdraw consent — you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at apply@soleilstudio.live. We will respond within 15 business days of receiving your request.

Your Rights — United States (CCPA)

If you are a resident of California, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:

• Right to know — you may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you
• Right to delete — you may request deletion of personal information we have collected, subject to certain exceptions
• Right to opt-out — we do not sell personal information. This right is therefore not applicable, but we will honor all opt-out requests
• Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights

To submit a CCPA request, contact us at apply@soleilstudio.live with the subject line "CCPA Privacy Request." We will respond within 45 days as required by law.

Residents of other US states with applicable privacy laws (Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, etc.) may also contact us to exercise similar rights and we will respond in good faith.

Cookies & Tracking

Our website does not currently use tracking cookies or third-party advertising pixels. If this changes prior to or after launch, this section will be updated to reflect the specific cookies in use, their purpose, and how you can manage your preferences.

Basic analytics may be collected through our hosting provider to monitor site performance. This data is aggregated and anonymized and cannot be used to identify individual visitors.

Third-Party Services

Our application form is processed through Google Forms, operated by Google LLC. By submitting an application, your data may be processed on Google's servers in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy, available at privacy.google.com. We recommend reviewing Google's policy to understand how they handle your data.

We do not use any other third-party services that collect or process personal data at this time. This section will be updated if additional services are introduced.

International Data Transfers

Soleil Studio operates primarily from Taiwan. If you are submitting an application from outside Taiwan, including from the United States, your personal data may be transferred to and stored in Taiwan. By submitting your application, you consent to this transfer.

We take reasonable steps to ensure that your data is handled securely regardless of where it is stored or processed.

Minors

Our services are strictly available to individuals aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe we have inadvertently received information from a minor, please contact us immediately at apply@soleilstudio.live and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy regularly.
